The BT – DK Bone Conduction Bluetooth Sports Earphone have clean looks and an intuitive usage design with their easy to operate 3-button remote with dedicated volume buttons and a microphone for phone calls.
The brand assures 5 hours of continuous use on a single charge with their inner rechargeable Li-ion battery (150mAh) and 7 days of standby time.
The NCF label is placed in the left earpiece, granting super fast and easy pairing. The right earpiece holds the multi-function button on the rear plate (with a bi-colored LED ring light) and the 2 volume buttons are placed on the front.
The micro USB charging port and the microphone are positioned in the inner area of the right earpiece – the charging port is secured under a rubber gasket to ensure it’s IP66 waterproof rating.

We find that bone conduction headphones have a specific public that can benefit or find them useful, like: sports practicing people where awareness is requested or wanted, people concerned about in-ear health and whoever wants/needs high levels of awareness. We could even see them in modern office work environments allowing office workers to listen to music while remaining aware of the office sounds, companions interaction and without disturbing them, as it would happen if each one would be listening to music with a speaker.
You should not think of them as normal headphones or earphones (nor expect similar noise quality), you could think of them as a music companion for your activities but, contrary to normal headphones, where awareness and/or “hearability” of your environment is more important than the music being listened to. Sound feels like being implanted more directly into your brain and, by design, mids tend to be boxy and distant, highs dark and bass shallow and dry.
Sound quality shows extreme variation in balance and style depending on which part of the bone structure area you are placing them (each head’s morphology is different), the closer to the ear canal the clearer the sound becomes. If you “misplace” them and wear them on top of your ears you will get clearer sound and a sort of on-ear headphone style.
