ACCESSORIES & PACKAGING
4.25/5
The MechLands M75 comes is the typical cardboard packaging seen on most modern keyboards from the brand and some competitors.
With the keyboard you will also get:
• USB-C cable
• Dust cover
• Keycap/switch puller
• 1x extra keycap
• 2x extra switches
D
DESIGN
4/5
The MechLands M75 is a 75% keyboard with 79 keys and a knob.
As soon as you see the M75 you might get some deja vu effect with the MechLands Vibe75; and you would not be wrong as both keyboards use the exact same case and overall design but with a different color pattern.
The M75, also, differs from the Vibe75 by not including a display screen but it shares the same customization option of a detachable rotary encoder that can be replaced by a standard switch.
Also, same as the Vibe75, the edges of the keyboard sports a design plate in a single piece that covers the right edge, left edge and back edge.
On the bottom, you will find 2 adjustable feet and a silver-colored plate while the rear edge holds the USB-C port, a WIN/Mac switch and an On/Off switch.
The MechLands M75 is available only in black color.

CONSTRUCTION & BUILD
4.25/5
For a plastic keyboard, the MechLands M75 feels a better built than other budget-plastic models.
The keyboard might not feel as premium as a metal or wooden model but the internals of the M75 make the difference by offering a hot-swappable, soldering-free board that accepts compatible hall-effect switches – moreover, the M75 is enhanced with 2 aluminum plates and pre-lubed stabs.

KEYCAPS
4.25/5
The keycaps of the MechLands M75 have classic Cherry profile and durable PBT construction to ensure long-lasting, fade-free usability.

The finish of the keycaps has a subtly textured feel, improving the grip and reducing any possible slippery issues with sweaty fingers.
Making use of bright green fonts over the black color of the main keycaps body, the contrast makes them easy to see and read without effort.
The rotary encoder responds with a light resistance and tactile feedback per notch without being overly loose.
SW
SWITCHES
4.5/5
The leading hall-effect switches are usually Kailh, Gateron or some self-branded ones. The Mechlands M75 does not have neither of these and makes use of a popular brand seen on ultra-budget keyboards: OUTEMU.
To be honest, throughout the years we have worked with plenty of keyboards with OUETMU switches and we did not find them to be the best of the pack nor the longest-lasting.
Despite this, the OUTEMU switches inside the Mechlands M75 are part of their high-tier models and a whole new design that makes use of hall-effect/magnetic tech and not the classic mechanical switch type.
When running the unit through our tests, we found these OUTEMU hall-effect switches to perform perfectly well without any noticeable weaker aspect when comparing it with the plethora of other hall-effect switches that we have reviewed so far.
In fact, the Outemu switches provided all and sometimes more customizations and features than other older magnetic switches, including access to:
• DKS
• Adjustable actuation (0.01mm precision)
• TGL
• MT
• SOCD
• Deadzone customization
Moreover, the switches were as silky smooth as expected from their non-mechanical nature; offering a 100% scratchless feel.
Outemu Magnetic Switch:
Long life: 100,000,000 cycles
Force Travel: 2.0mm 45+5gf
Total Travel: 3.50±0.1mm
Feel: Linear
CON
CONNECTIVITY
4/5
As you might imagine by now, the MechLands M75 is a superb keyboard for hardcore gaming thanks to their hall-effect, customizable switches but, on top of that, this keyboard reaches 8000Hz of polling rate. 32k scan rate and latency as low as 0.125ms.
On the other hand, this is a wired-only keyboard and does not offer any type of wireless connection.
An odd detail is that you will find a dedicate slot on the bottom case for a wireless dongle but, as just said, this keyboard does not have any wireless connectivity modules inside.
Being so, the keyboard, also, does not need nor sport any internal rechargeable battery.
L
LIGHTING
4.25/5
Thankfully, the M75 inherited the bright and proficient south-facing RGB LED design of the Vibe75, making it nicer than many other backlit keyboards.
Moreover, the top left edge includes 3 separate status lights, well-labeled.
S
SOUND
4.5/5
Regarding sound, the MechLands M75 has the classic personality of keyboards equipped with hall-effect switches, which is never a thocky, creamy sound of premium mechanical keyboards but more of a muted clicky style.
Also, if slightly and gently pressed you could almost make them act like a semi-silent linear switch.
It is nice seeing that the stabs of the M75 came as well pre-lubed as other keyboards from the brand, with the right amount of lube applied making them rattle-free.
