The SoundPEATS Air3 are the latest generation of the Air series with a design aimed to cover the needs of users that look for portability and comfort at a ultra-cheap price.
With a total dimension of 1.94×1.87 inches, the case of the Air3 are among the slimmest and smallest around while still being able to provide up to 25 hours of battery.
Inside, each earpiece is equipped with a single driver configuration – specifically, 14.2mm dynamic drivers.
Furthermore and despite the cheap price, the Air3 offer touch sensitive controls with “multi-touch” controls that will allow all essential music and phone call controls – even including volume up and volume down control.
In addition to this, SoundPEATS has added a game/low latency mode that can be activated by tapping 3 times the back of the earbuds and in-ear auto-sensors that will play/pause the music.

Bass & Sub Bass
Right out of the box, the SoundPEATS Air3 show a bass-centered sound with a strong mid-bass response.
Usually headphone with an earbud design, such as the Air3, tend to suffer from weak bass and a shallow extension; instead, this TWS have a remarkably punchy sound for it’s design.

Mids & Vocals
The boosted bass gets ownership of the sound signature, making it’s midrange very noticeably warm and exhibiting a boomy effect.
As expected, this will introduce congestion to the lower end of the mids and a very full sound on male vocals.
Despite this, the Air3 are able to offer a type of mids that can be enjoyed by listeners that look for a bassy earbud that can still provide sufficient mids to cover commuting sessions and a general smooth/non harsh sound.
Overall, this SoundPEATS TWS showed very warm sound and a bassy profile that, yet, was less congested than other similarly bassy earphones.

Highs & Treble
As seen on their midrange, the highs and treble range of the SoundPEATS Air3 show a dark response with a bass-owning expansion over the whole spectrum.
Being so, the Air3 will not be the first choice for listeners looking for analytical nor pristine highs. On the other hand, the dark tint combined with a rolled-off end and 3k-6k range could attract users that want to have a sibilance and piercing free experience.

Comfort
Earbuds have an excellent design for users that feel in-ears to be too intrusive or pain-inducing.
The SoundPEATS Air3 do a remarkable fitting smoothly and ensuring a pristine level of comfort for long lasting sessions.
Moreover, the brand did a very good job custom-shaping the earbud to offer a safer and tighter fit than other earbuds on the market.

Response to Equalization
The Air3 showed a decent amount of retuning potential by complex custom eq techniques.
Mids showed a good amount of reduction on their overall congested feel, while highs and treble benefited from a brighter and bit more open sound.
